FCCJ

Foreign Correspondents' Club of Japan

The Foreign Correspondents' Club of Japan (FCCJ) needed a modern digital platform to serve its diverse international membership and public audience. With a wide range of content—including press events, club news, membership details, and booking functions—the site had to balance usability with editorial flexibility. FCCJ also required a scalable solution that could support frequent updates, multiple content types, and seamless member engagement, all while reflecting the club’s longstanding heritage and credibility.

Rain Interactive delivered a redesigned and redeveloped website using Drupal, combining robust functionality with an elegant, responsive design. We worked closely with FCCJ to ensure the new platform addressed both operational needs and editorial workflows. The CMS allows for easy content management across events, publications, and announcements. In addition to technical execution, we provided ongoing consulting to align digital strategy with internal goals, plus continuous maintenance to keep performance and security up to standard. The site architecture is built for future growth, making it easy to expand features as the organization evolves.

Since its relaunch, FCCJ’s website has become a more effective tool for member communication and public outreach. The improved design has enhanced user experience across devices, while the custom Drupal backend empowers staff to manage content independently. With Rain Interactive’s ongoing support and consulting, FCCJ has maintained a stable and professional online presence that reflects the organization’s role as a key institution for international journalism in Japan.
