
ANA’s ‘BLUE WING - Wings for Changemakers’ is an online program promoting social change leveraging the strengths of digital and social media.
Partnered with NPO Ashoka, ANA’s vision was to create an online platform where users could support the cause of an Ashoka ‘Social Entrepreneur’ which ANA could then transformed into a real donation.
Rain designed and built a rich visual web platform on top of a flexible management system which allowed ANA and the Social Entrepreneurs to manage their own digital presence.
The platform then monitored specific user interactions to integrate with ANA’s own systems and generate reports that ANA could convert actions into real donations.

ANA and NPO Ashoka needed a digital platform that could engage visitors with inspiring social entrepreneur stories and automatically convert their interactions into real donations. Rain Interactive was brought on board to design and develop this solution from the ground up. The project required a system that allowed both ANA and individual changemakers to manage their own content, while capturing every vote, share, and booking in real time. Rain Interactive had to ensure seamless integration with ANA’s existing donation workflows, eliminating manual reporting and providing transparent, automated tracking of user engagement across the entire program.
Rain Interactive designed and built a rich visual platform on a flexible content management system that empowered both ANA and Ashoka’s social entrepreneurs to manage their own digital presence. Custom dashboards allowed each changemaker to update profiles and share progress stories. User actions such as voting for a project, sharing on social media, or booking a flight coupon were automatically tracked and fed into ANA’s backend systems. Real-time reporting tools converted these interactions into WING points and triggered donation workflows, eliminating manual steps and ensuring transparency for all stakeholders.
The BLUE WING platform delivered a seamless experience that transformed digital engagement into tangible support. Visitors could easily explore changemaker profiles, cast votes, and share content while watching their WING points accumulate. Behind the scenes, ANA received automated reports that mapped each interaction to donation events, streamlining their processes and improving accuracy. Feedback praised the platform’s intuitive design, visual appeal, and straightforward user journey. Ultimately, the initiative not only raised awareness for social entrepreneurs but also drove measurable funding, demonstrating how thoughtful digital design can amplify social change.
